“While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.”  Romans 5:8-9

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  John 3:16  (Jesus died so that those who believe in Him, shall live forever with Him.)

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”  Ephesians 2:8

“There is salvation in no one else but Jesus; there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we can be saved.”  Acts 4:12
